Roobarb 'n' Custard :: Welcome!

Introduction

Roobarb and Custard VW owners club’s first incarnation was in the early 90s where our reputation for being Mad, Bad and Alcoholic went before us! We have now matured slightly (but not much) and have decided that Plymouth, with no local VW club to accommodate the ever-growing VW community, is in desperate need for Roobarb and Custard to be Re-incarnated. So here we are!

It doesn’t matter if you’re old and grey, or young and green. As long as you drive, live or breathe the VW scene (who doesn’t!) you will be welcome. Whether it is rolling or rusting, Ratted or Resto’d !

We are kid and dog friendly, with a laid back philosophy! We have over 60 Years of VW bus and bug knowledge within the club so even if you just want to come along to pick our brains on how to repair this, weld that or just find out the best local garages to use. We are a helpful bunch, who are eager and willing to offer assistance to other dubbers.

It is hoped that in the future we will be able to offer members a page to show off their VW's, and to keep us informed of your projects or restorations. Please note that we do not initially want to have a Forum… but if demand is there we will look at finding something that best suits the need of the club. We will however have a message board. Please be patient while the site slowly gets up and running, and check back at regular intervals, to see how the work progresses.
